At a free concert by Rhombus at Te Papa yesterday, only just noticed the fantastic colour scheme used. So natural, fantastic earthy colours but bright and expansive…
Anyone know who designed it? Beautiful…

Exciting things coming up

There’s some great things in the works over at sown, none of which I can say anything about, but they’ll be great.

In the meantime, we’re readying ourselves the best we can so we can be the best we can for our clients. It’s really all about the experience, and sown’s aim is to make it as easy and straightforward to get their brands & online communications as amazing as they can be.

Logo Design Buyer’s Guide

Here’s a buyer’s guide which should be a read for anyone approaching logo design.

I agree with this article, especially since logo design is business goal and marketing driven. Many people will be able to give you a beautiful logo I’m sure (and that’s a big part of it no doubt), but to have a truly successful logo it needs to communicate the business from the get-go.
